Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Andriani Siavelis, earned her optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO). She then completed additional training in an optometric residency in hospital-based optometry, ocular disease, and low vision at the Jesse Brown Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois at ICO and the VA, Dr. Siavelis’ passion was researching treatments for glaucoma and complications due to HIV infection. She is fluent in Greek and enjoys helping patients optimize their vision to see their very best.
She is a great asset to our team and has shown a broad reach in vision care above basic vision needs and in various age groups. She also specializes in advanced corneal fittings and low vision. She is certified by the Department of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) to provide low vision services.
Dr. Siavelis enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. She loves sailing, gardening, crossfit, and traveling.
